What do you do outside of frisbee?
Big Red Marching and Pep Bands, Alpha Phi Omega - Gamma Chapter, Intramural Sports Officiation
What is your favorite Roses memory?
2015 season, coming from last seed in our pool at Regionals and upsetting the #1 tournament seed in double universe point to go 4-0 in pool play.
If you had a free plane ticket, where would you go?
Rome, Italy. I’ve spent too much time in Latin and art history classes not to see it all in person. Plus I’ve never been abroad!
How did you get your nickname?
Hobbes, a senior on Thorny my freshman year, decided at our second tournament that I needed a nickname. “Sarge” wasn’t sticking, but “Toots” was discussed at a team dinner I conveniently wasn’t at (I guess because I’m loud and I play trumpet). Disco popularized it during games the next day, and it’s stuck hard ever since.
What's your favorite tournament food?
Trail mix is by far and away the best tournament snack - high calorie nuts and chocolate, convenient servings (by the handful), and great to keep teeth from grinding during high-pressure points from the sideline.
What are your favorite pizza toppings?
Grilled chicken, tomato and spinach with BBQ sauce.
What's your hidden talent?
Memorizing useless recitations: Pi to 60 places, Edgar Allan Poe’s The Raven, The Periodic Table of Elements…and more.
