What do you do outside of frisbee?
I am a huge bike nerd. I raced mountain bikes throughout high school and spend most of my non-frisbee weekends going on long road rides around Ithaca. I also work as a mechanic at a local shop during the summer, and spend a lot time researching and drooling over the latest new tech. Otherwise I enjoy casual swimming, listening to podcasts, and petting my cat.
What is your favorite roses memory?
The entire Mixed Regionals weekend was incredibly fun, especially the drive down. The lighthearted silliness and stupid cheers kept things interesting but never too intense, and I appreciated getting to know some of the Buds for the first time.
How did you get your nickname?
I almost always wear sunglasses when I play, so Kermit decided that I look like Dexter from the Cartoon Network show Dexter’s Lab. Crispy loved it, so the name stuck.
What's your favorite tournament food?
Pretzel sticks (always a classic) and PB&J sandwiches smuggled from the dining hall
What are your favorite pizza toppings?
I’m a Hawaiian pizza kind of person. Call me crazy, but there’s something magical about the salty-sweet contrast of pineapple and Canadian bacon.
What's your hidden talent?
Photoshopping action shots of my teammates into holiday themed greeting cards. Either that or being able to wear shorts in near-freezing temps.
Any other fun/weird fact(s), likes, dislikes:
(kinda boring) Fun fact: For all three years of middle school, I was one of three people to read the morning announcements over the PA system. We would play games over the microphone like ”Name that Song” to keep it interesting, but the harsh reality was that nobody really listened to the announcements anyways. As a result, any delusions of grandeur were immediately squashed once I realized this in the first week of school.
